Product Overview

Top of the range microprocessor controlled automatic model. Single MFI test, multi-slice MFI test (x 20), density at test temperature, viscosity, shear stress, statistical analysis, averages and standard deviation. Motor driven weight loader with purge and hold back feature, built-in test results printer, RS232 output with special data transfer lead and Windows^TM data link PC software.

Ray-Ran 5 Series Advanced Melt Flow Systems are completely modular in design and can be upgraded at any time.

Conforms to all International test standards for melt flow testing.

Optional Melt Flow Test Weights

Optional melt flow test weights may be purchased with the apparatus or at a later date as required. 0.325 kg and 2.160 kg test weights are supplied as standard and are included in the basic cost of the apparatus. All optional melt flow test weights are available ex-stock direct from Ray-Ran.

Test weights are modular in design. Larger test weights include smaller test weights as shown.

Melt flow cylinders, pistons and test dies are available in special Hastelloy corrosion resistant material. All optional melt flow spares and ancillaries are available ex-stock direct from Ray-Ran.
